W. Kamau Bell is a sociopolitical comedian who is the host and executive producer of the Emmy Award winning CNN docu-series United Shades of America. In his presentation titled, United Shades of Kamau, he talks about his work traversing the country and talking to people about what it means to be an American in the 21st century. Kamau uses clips from the show, featuring a diverse array of voices, to demonstrate how we can all connect in these so-called “divided times.” Kamau’s mix of storytelling, stand-up comedy, and heartfelt words embody the message of his CNN show. We are all the people.

No tickets required, but seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available in B and C lots only. Parking in any other campus lot requires a permit.
