Gender Identity and Inclusion
Repeats every 1 Day(s), from 09:00 AM - 02:30 PM
Location: KU Torch Lounge

In this session, participants will build a common language and terminology for gender identity and expression. Facilitators will refer to recent policies introduced at the University of Dayton to foster inclusion and a greater sense of belonging around gender identity. Participants will familiarize themselves with best practices for the creation of a campus that celebrates the dignity of every person grounded in principles of our Catholic and Marianist identity. Join us for a session to learn more about the language related to gender identity and expression, understand related policies, practices, and resources, answer questions you might have and find concrete ways in which you can contribute to build an inclusive campus.

Facilitators: R. Darden Bradshaw, Associate Professor of Art Education; Laura Gentner Hutchinson, Coordinator, LGBTQ+ Student Services; and Crystal Sullivan, Executive Director of Campus Ministry.
