Minor in Finance

Finance involves the financing of business enterprises. This includes methods of raising money, asset management, debt management, corporate governance, merger and acquisition, investment and security analysis, derivatives strategy, real estate and insurance, and virtually all aspects of finance.

The finance major provides students with a working understanding of the financial decision-making process, the acquisition and management of capital and how financial markets function. Students may elect course concentrations in investment analysis and portfolio management, financial institutions and services, or corporate financial management.
