Economic Analysis Team

Members of the Economic Analysis Team focus on providing a top-down view of the markets for the Flyer Investments Fund.

Team members monitor economic indicators and relevant current events to assist in creating an Equity Outlook for every sector. Each week, the Economic Analysis Team produces an economic report featuring commentary on market events and forecasting the outlook for relevant indicators over a given period of time.

Fouad Saleh

Title:  Associate Manager/Economic Analysis Team Leader

During thesummer of 2020, Fouad served as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at ArkMalibu Group in Cincinnati, a boutique sell-side only investment bank focused on middle-market transactions. Next summer, he hopes to secure an internship in private equity or investment banking.

Nicholas Cragon

Nick spent last summer taking classes and networking. Next summer, he hopes to secure an internship in investment management or equity research.

John Coffey

John was busy last summer leading a biomedical research project on campus. He hopes to secure an internship in equity research in Chicago for the summer ahead.

Alec Gizzie

During the summer of 2020, Alec interned with Ventura Group, LLC, a lower middle market investment bank in Pittsburgh. Next summer, he hopes to secure an internship that will further his experience in investment banking.

Breanne Greene

Last summer, Bree worked at Wealth Management Partners, LLC as an analyst, conducting outlook research within the target date fund market on behalf of various client positions. Next summer, Bree hopes to secure an internship in the asset management space.

Christian Hense

During the summer of 2020, Christian interned with Lockton Companies' Kansas City and Detroit offices. After graduation in May, Christian is looking to secure a full-time position at Lockton Companies on its PECAP team or a job within the Healthcare Investment and Consulting industry.

Daniel Montgomery

Daniel’s dream to study abroad in Rome last summer was dashed by the Coronavirus threat. Instead, he participated in JPMorgan Chase's Finance Boot Camp. Next summer, he hopes to secure an internship in asset or wealth management.

Jacob Troutwine

Over the summer of 2020, Jacob interned with Plante Moran's Transaction Advisory Services team in Cincinnati. After graduating in May, he hopes to work full time in a similar capacity. 

Mae Tully

Last summer, Mae oversaw the safety of guests at the Twin Orchard Country Club pool in Long Grove, Illinois. She also provided child care for a family of health-care workers who were serving on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19 at a local hospital. Meanwhile, Mae has been busy networking in the hopes of securing an internship for next summer.

Will Kreps

During the summer of 2020, Will interned with T. Rowe Price in Baltimore. Following graduation, he hopes to return to T. Rowe Price in an Investment Operations role.

Leo Britten

Title:  Economic Outlook Analyst

Year:  Sophomore
Major:  Finance

Leo spent the summer of 2020 working as a TMT analyst for Global Platinum Securities, an intercollegiate, value-oriented equity fund. More recently, Leo served as a  private equity intern with Westbourne Capital Partners over the winter, and is looking forward to the summer ahead when he will be interning at Invision Capital, a middle market private equity firm in Chicago.

Josh Griffin

Last summer, Josh interned in personal finance at a local consulting firm in Lexington called The Bender Group. There he worked on managing clients' portfolios while gaining experience in financial consulting. Next summer, Josh hopes to secure an internship in wealth management before traveling abroad to Florence, Italy, to study business.

Dalton Hertel

Dalton interned with Buckhorn Inc. in Cincinnati last summer. He concurrently studied for the GMAT, with aspirations of attaining his MBA Degree in the next three to five years. Dalton will graduate in May, and is applying for jobs in the financials sector in Chicago.

Daniel O'Meara

Last summer, Dan found work in a local warehouse when his previous summer kitchen job became unavailable as a result of COVID-19 shutdowns. Next year, he hopes to land an internship in Chicagoland, working in trading.

Henry Weidenbach

Henry spent last summer working for a housing contractor in Chicagoland. During his off hours, he also observed client office visits as well as a virtual webinar series through U.S. Bank. Next summer, Henry hopes to secure an internship in financial consulting.
