Annual SBA Entrepreneurship Dinner

The Crotty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership hosts an annual dinner each Spring to give our entrepreneurship students a chance to talk about their experiential opportunities and to celebrate the success of the Entrepreneurship program.  The Flyer Pitch finalists display their projects, and the winners are announced. Epsilon Nu Tau

The University of Dayton is home to the Alpha Chapter of Epsilon Nu Tau, the nation's first entrepreneurship fraternity. It is a coed, professional organization which helps students launch and maintain sustainable businesses.  ENT is open to men and women of all majors and academic disciplines.  Read more >>

Everest Real Estate Challenge

Experiential learning is a top priority at the University of Dayton. Since the Everest Real Estate Challenge's inception in 2006, over 200 students have participated, creating interdisciplinary teams to analyze real-world real estate challenges and develop recommendations for moving forward. Flyer Angels

Thanks to a generous gift from alumnus Ron McDaniel, Flyer Angels is a $1 million early-stage fund that invests in some of Ohio's most exciting technology ventures. Entrepreneurship majors perform all due diligence, make investment decisions and interact with angel investors. Ours is one of the few entrepreneurship programs that directly involves undergraduates in angel investing.

Flyer Consulting

Flyer Consulting provides business solutions to non-profits. Flyer Consulting's staff is comprised of standout students that provide their clients with valid business advice while simultaneously helping the community and participating in a tremendous learning experience. Flyer Consulting aids non-profits by creating solutions that help them make the most of their limited resources by providing marketing, financial, accounting, IT data-basing, and other services. Flyer Pitch:  A New Venture Creation Competition

Good leadership is essential for high performing teams in our Sophomore Entrepreneurial Experience course. p3 represents the presidents of the sophomore, junior and senior year teams. Two or three times an academic year, current and former team presidents meet to discuss good team management practices, obstacles overcome in past years and opportunities for personal growth in leadership skills for each team president. Our belief is that excellent team leadership is essential to the operation of well run teams and that students should have an opportunity to fully exploit the development of their individual group leadership skills. Stander Symposium

Each year entrepreneurship majors have been selected to participate in the University-wide Stander Symposium.


The University of Dayton has an active CEO Club.  Sponsored by the Crotty Center, this student run club provides insight and exposure to the role of entrepreneurship in our economy. Read more >> 

UD Entrepreneurs at the Table (EATT) Program

Jim (UD alum) and Esther Eiting have established an endowment to bring local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship students together on a regular basis to discuss events, concerns, opportunities and practices of mutual interest. Read more >> 

UD Junior Entrepreneur Mentor Program (JEM)

UD ENT majors thought it would be helpful for juniors, having successfully completed the Sophomore Entrepreneurial Experience Course, to share their knowledge and experience with current ENT sophomores. Read more >> 

Visiting Entrepreneur, Larry Connor

Visiting entrepreneur Larry Connor, CEO of The Connor Group, is a successful Dayton entrepreneur that has built a two billion dollar national company headquartered here in the Miami Valley. Larry visits our campus once a year to talk to our entrepreneurship students and share his experiences about what it takes to be successful in today's business environment.

Volunteer of the Year

Jordan Roe received the 2017 Volunteer of the Year Award at our Annual Entrepreneurship/Business Plan Competition Awards Dinner. Jordan is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton teaching "Fundamentals of New Technology Ventures," a class that examines patented technology from Air Force Research Labs and teaches students how to elicit the unique value proposition of the technology to form a viable business opportunity and potential startup.  His primary position is as a Venture Analyst with the Entrepreneurs Center in Dayton.  Over the last year Jordan was very generous with his time volunteering as a Flyer Pitch mentor.
