Center for the Integration of Faith and Work

About the Center

The Center for the Integration of Faith and Work is an example of the School of Business Administration's commitment to provide transformative education in the Marianist tradition. The Center focuses on designing and implementing programs and initiatives related to the following activities:

  • Developing and offering courses, workshops, and seminars dealing with topics and issues related to the Center’s mission and the issues identified above for the SBA, University, and the community
  • Organizing conferences and retreats for SBA, the University, and the community related to the integration of faith and work, ethics, and business as a calling
  • Providing an “umbrella” for all programs and initiatives that currently exist in the SBA related to business as a calling, ethics, and spirituality in business
  • Hosting a distinguished speakers series and other special events open to the SBA, University, and community related to the integration of faith and work and business as a calling
  • Publishing a journal related to topics in ethics, the spirituality of business, the integration of faith and work and business as a calling
  • Sponsoring and promoting  research on spirituality in the workplace, the integration of faith and work, ethics, and how our Catholic and Marianist heritage can inform and enrich business practices,  policies, and leadership
  • Investigate and benchmark the “best practices” at other Universities related to the integration of faith and work, business as a calling, spirituality in business and ethics
  • Engaging in outreach and other collaborative efforts with other faculty, staff, and organizations at the University of Dayton as well as with local organizations and community groups
