Academic Programs

Our innovative MIS undergraduate program features a capstone, two-semester analysis and design project with a Dayton area firm. You may also select courses from two MIS minors: business intelligence and cybersecurity management. This hands-on approach prepares you for immediate contribution in the professional world — a skill highly sought by employers.

The operations and supply management (OPS) program is comprised of six required courses and two electives. The program's hallmark is its senior capstone consulting project with a regional firm (which often leads to a permanent job offer). You grapple with real operations and supply problems of real firms. This cutting edge program benefits from extensive interaction and guidance from area business executives.

Students may minor in business analytics. You study analysis, quantitative methodologies and their application to the functional and behavioral problems of any organization. The curriculum includes applied statistics, operations research, simulation, and production and operations decision support systems.
