Textbook Return Policies
- You must have the original receipt or purchased the materials with your student account.
- Must have Student ID present.
- The book must be in like-new condition.
- Shrink-wrapped books must be in their original packaging.
- A 5% restocking fee may be assessed.
- Any access codes must be unused in order to process a return.
- Deadlines are posted in the Bookstore and on all receipts. For the Spring 2022 semester, the deadlines are:
- To return textbooks without a record of drop is January 21, 2022.
- To return textbooks with proof of drop on Banner through the University's final drop/add date is January 31, 2022.
- If you are waiting for a book to arrive in the mail, please do NOT buy a copy of the book at the Bookstore to use for a week.
- Because some students purchase their books from other vendors, we do not buy a copy for everyone enrolled in the class.
- If you buy a copy to use temporarily, some students will not be able to get the book from the Bookstore when they need it.
- For textbooks purchased with the textbook scholarship, the refund will go back to your scholarship balance for the semester.
- Must have Student ID present.
- Flyer Express purchases are refunded on Flyer Express.
- Must have Student ID present.
- Credit card purchases are refunded to the credit card used for the purchase.
- No refunds on general books, dictionaries, reference materials, special orders, test preps, law supplements, e-books or materials containing open access codes.
- No refunds on media or software.
