Virtual Reality Comes to UD

When you think about Virtual Reality (VR), you may associate it with industries like gaming, media, healthcare, or education. VR combines hardware and software allowing immersion into a realistic, 3-D environment where virtual objects or space can be manipulated.

With the vast potential of VR it was apparent that it was time for the LTC Tech Space to explore how VR can be leveraged on-campus. Drop-in sessions are available Thursdays from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the LTC Tech Space, located in the basement of Roesch Library, until the end of the Spring 2017 semester. During drop-in sessions visitors can experience VR first-hand and brainstorm how this technology can enhance the classroom experience at UD. One-on-one sessions are also available and can be requested through the LTC Tech Space's website: https://udayton.edu/ltc/tech_space/virtual_reality.php
