The Nativity Narrative

By Ann Zlotnik

The second week of Advent is already here. It is a time to ponder the gift of faith. This week, the Marian Library is sharing a reading filled with examples of strong faith. It is the story of the angel appearing to the shepherds in the field as they are “keeping the night watch over their flock,” read to you by Brother Raymond L. Fitz, S.M., president emeritus of the University of Dayton. Visit the virtual Advent wreath to watch and listen as the familiar words of this Gospel reading are illustrated with Nativity sets from the popular Marian Library Crèche Collection.

Visit the virtual Advent wreath each week of Advent to interact with our wreath and see what surprises we have in store for the UD community and all of our friends near and far.
