The Marian Library Art and Artifacts Collection is home to several pieces created to honor Chaminade and the Marianists who serve as the strong, nourishing roots of the University of Dayton. Located on the Central Mall between Kennedy Union and Alumni Hall, this statue of Chaminade was created by Brother Joseph Aspell, S.M. It was commissioned to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Chaminade's birth.
