Ready and Waiting! A Virtual Advent Wreath

By Ann Zlotnik

It has been a year of shifting, closing, postponing and adapting. Sadly, the Marian Library made the difficult decision to announce that we could not present our annual At the Manger exhibit this season. We did not sit idly by, however. Instead of focusing solely on our popular crèche collection, we are showcasing Nativity imagery from postcards, stamps, art, holy cards and more — all from the Marian Library’s collections. This year we are celebrating the joyful anticipation of Christmas with our virtual Advent wreath!

Each week during Advent, we will light a new candle and share a special gift from the Marian Library. Visit go.udayton.edu/adventwreath to interact with our wreath and see what surprises we have in store for the UD community and all of our friends near and far.
