Fatima tells the story of Marian apparitions through the eyes of Lúcia Santos, the eldest of the three seers.

On April 24, 2020, the movie, Fatima, will open on 1,000 screens in the U.S.  It is about the remarkable set of appearances of the Blessed Mother to three young shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

"This movie was made to cross into the mainstream media," producer Natasha Howes said in an interview with the National Catholic Register.  "It's beautiful, and everyone should go to see it.  Expect greatness."

New Rector of National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk, United Kingdom (Zenit), January 27, 2020

The Rt Rev Mgr Canon Philip Moger is to become the next Rector of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk, United Kingdom.  He will take up his new responsibilities in September 2020.

Mgr Moger’s appointment follows the end of the five-year term of office of the current Rector of the Shrine, the Rt Rev Mgr John Armitage.

Mgr Moger is a priest of the Diocese of Leeds and is currently the parish priest of St John Mary Vianney in Leeds.

The Bishop of Leeds, the Right Reverend Marcus Stock has sent a message to the clergy, religious and lay faithful of the Diocese of Leeds announcing this appointment.

In the message Bishop Stock says:

"As Mgr Moger's bishop, I am reluctant to see him leave us to minister outside of this diocese, albeit for a limited term of office; as a member of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales though, I am delighted that we have a priest of such talent and ability leading one of the Catholic Church's important national institutions...."

Miracle of the Sun occurs in Baltimore during Rosary (Defendlife.org website) Jan-Feb 2020

During the recent Fall Bishop's meeting in Baltimore, Defend Life and the Catholic Media Coalition sponsored two public Rosaries honoring Our Lady of America.

By way of background, the Blessed Mother appeared to Sister Mildred Neuzil on September 26, 1956, in Rome City, Indiana.  She requested that a statue as she appeared to Sister Mildred be processed into the Basilica of the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, then under construction, in Washington, D.C., and properly venerated.

She promised that if this was done, America would become a role model for purity throughout the world.  She also said the miracles that would occur in America as a result would exceed those of Fatima and Lourdes combined!

Even though this beautiful statue very much exists, it sadly has not yet been processed into the Shrine.  Perhaps the chaos pervading the Church and America is a direct result of not fulfilling this simple request made sixty-three years ago by the Mother of God....

Surrounding this rectangular shape, I saw “star bursts.”  I experienced absolutely no discomfort when viewing it. I could not take a picture because I had loaned my cell phone to a person who was recording the Rosary.  At the end, before we disbanded, Mary Ann Harold, while weeping, told me she had seen the sun "spinning” during the Rosary....
