Publish in an Open Access Journal

From Oct. 1 through Nov. 30, academic publisher Taylor & Francis is offering discounts of up to 50 percent on article processing charges for 36 open-access journal titles and waiving them for nine. The offer applies to manuscripts submitted within the eligibility windows specified on their website , even if they are not accepted for publication until after the deadline.

Almost all of the journals on the list meet the requirements for grants from the University of Dayton Libraries’ open access publishing fund, supported by the Libraries, the Office of the Provost and the Office for Graduate Academic Affairs. To receive support from the fund, the paper must be previously unpublished and accepted for publication in a fully open-access journal with no embargo period after publication. Further details and the link to an application are available on the Libraries website.

For more information about scholarly open-access publishing, contact Maureen Schlangen in University Libraries.
