The Martian by Andy Weir
Discussion: Tuesday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Follows an American astronaut, Mark Watney, as he becomes stranded alone on Mars and must improvise in order to survive. Now a major motion picture starring Matt Damon."Sharp, funny and thrilling, with just the right amount of geekery." - Kirkus Reviews

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
Discussion: Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m.
If you liked Gone Girl you will love this mystery and suspense novel. It follows the lives of three women – Rachel, Anna, and Megan – and the events surrounding Megan’s murder, ultimately bringing them together. "Even the most astute readers will be in for a shock." - Kirkus Reviews
