University Libraries

Love to read?

All staff, faculty and students can check out books at Roesch Library and also borrow books through consortiums such as OhioLINK (academic libraries) and SearchOhio (public libraries). All you need is your UD ID card!

Search for books by title, author, keyword, etc. using our online catalog. It will tell you where the book is located in Roesch Library. You may also stop by and browse our diverse collection of popular reads/leisure reading in our lobby and in the first floor Knowledge Hub.

Use the OhioLINK and SearchOhio catalogs if we do not own a book you would like to read. You can request books from either of these systems and they will arrive within 3-4 business days. You will receive an email that the book is ready for pick up at the Access services desk in the lobby of Roesch Library. When you're done, you bring it back to Roesch and we send it back for you. It's all free!

We are here to help if you can't find a book! Please contact us
