Celebrate National Library Week

National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. National Library Week is April 12-18, 2015. Take this time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support! Here are the ways we're celebrating:

What’s stellar about Roesch Libary? Tell us with a library star

-Email a note to librariesmarketing@udayton.edu.
-Tweet it @roeschlibrary with the hashtag #LibWeek
-Fill out a paper star in the lobby and post it beginning April 10.
We’ll post electronic submissions for everyone to see during National Library Week April 12-18.

Win a Finals Survival Package

Enter once per day April 12-18 by paper entry at Access Services desk or by finding the photo of the prize pack in the library, taking a photo and tagging @roeschlibrary on Instagram or Twitter.

Behind the Scenes Library Tour

Get a “back stacks pass!” on Friday April 17, 1pm-2pm. Meet in the first floor lobby and then the tour will visit compact storage, book repair, Digital Lab (book cutter in action), the Marian Library, and Archives.
