Prewriting and Research Workshop

The services of the Knowledge Hub are hosting a workshop introducing students to the benefits of prewriting and presearching as strategies for developing stronger papers. Hosted be Research Librarian Katy Kelly and Graduate Writing Consultant Beth Hageman, students will explore various prewriting strategies and be introduced to the idea of presearch as a form of prewriting. Katy and Beth will use articles on the Marianist Identity to facilitate a hands-on exercise for attendees, giving them time to practice these strategies. Students are encouraged to bring their specific questions or concerns regarding a current writing assignment and time will be provided for them to do some prewriting and presearching. Handouts will be available to attendees.

The workshop is scheduled for:

Tuesday, October 28 from 4-5 pm
LTC Team Space, ground floor of Roesch Library

Questions can be directed to the Write Place Coordinator at cklimo1@udayton.edu.
