Congratulations to the Mariological Society of America (MSA) for winning this year's Jerome Award from the Catholic Library Association(CLA)!
The Award will presented during the 2020 CLA Spring Virtual Conference on Thursday, April 2, 2020 from 2:15-3:15 p.m. Eastern time with the theme: Leading the Way: 2020 National Section Awards.
CLA has made registration free for their spring conference. So anyone and everyone can tune in to hear Dr. Gloria Dodd, Director of Academic Programs at the International Marian Research Institute and member of the MSA's Administrative Council, accept the Jerome Award on behalf of the MSA!

The Administrative Council of the MSA cancelled the in-person meeting in Washington State. However, their Annual Meeting will still be arranged on the scheduled dates in an online format. Updated information regarding registration and schedule will be communicated when all the details are worked out.

England to be Re-Dedicated as 'Dowry of Mary' Amidst Coronavirus Pandemic (Zenit), March 28, 2020
First dedicated to Our Lady by King Richard II in 1381, England was once again dedicated as the "Dowry of Mary" on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
At midday, Catholics and other Christians across England took part in the "re-dedication" of the country to the Virgin Mary. The re-dedication had been scheduled for years, but the current pandemic is described as "an example of why the Rededication is so important at this moment."
Originally, each English Bishop was to hold a ceremony in his own Cathedral, while a Mass was to be said at the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. With the new measures aimed at limiting the spread of Covid-19 in Britain, Christians were invited to re-dedicate themselves and their country to the prayers of the Virgin Mary from their own homes....

Virgin Mary 'appears in the sky' over Argentina as locals claim she is protecting them amid coronavirus outbreak (Daily Mail website) March 27, 2020
Netizens in Argentina have thanked the Virgin Mary for protecting them after claiming an image of her appeared in the sky amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
The 'figure' was taken at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday in the city of San Carlos, in the northeastern Argentine province of Corrientes and was later spread on social media and messaging services.
An unnamed resident whose daughter took the picture said 'in the sky, a rainbow started to be seen, and then some drops started to create the figure (of the Virgin) in the sky surrounding the sun'....
