When senior Tina Sandhu came to the University of Dayton, she noticed something was missing. As a psychology major and previous member of her high school’s Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer-based suicide prevention group, Sandhu realized that the University could benefit from a similar program.
While a student at UD, Dan Ratterman ’15 had a side hustle. Ratterman now is the chief operating officer at Shady Rays and the company employs more than 100 people and often ships more than 10,000 orders a day.
For Johanna Hartley ’17, chasing her dreams meant staying in Dayton after graduating. Since then, she has cultivated a diverse portfolio of community engagement.
Now a psychiatry resident, Cristina Santiago Loza ’16 didn't have to look far to figure out what she was meant to do in life.
