Business Ethics & Environmental Sustainability: BEES ice skate at downtown Dayton’s Metroparks rink

After watching several ‘chilling’ environmental films — "Before the Flood" (narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio) on climate change, "Chasing Ice" (on the disappearance of glaciers) and "How to Change the World" (on the start-up story of Greenpeace), the BEES gathered on the banks of the Great Miami River in downtown Dayton to enjoy the ice on offer from the Five Rivers MetroParks.

Several BEES had never been on ice before, but with the help of those BEES in the ice hockey club (Declan Pleuss and Tommy Rutherford) as well as several elder BEES (John McEvoy, Mark Roble, Thomas Skiba and Dustin Teders), no one slipped away without mastering the basics. Green plastic trainer contraptions also helped!

Those determined to return to the ice included Katie Bryant, Jack Byrne, Aiden Cogley, Katch Danahy, Nick Dodds, Austin Ebbing, Jace Fletcher, Collin Hanrahan, Joseph Husting, Calvin Laurenson, Zack McClain, Preston Schuster, Danielle Taylor, Sean Tucker, Isabelle Walters and Ryan Werner.
