Chicken Soup for the Soul: Well THAT Was Funny

Who's Publishing What: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Well THAT Was Funny

After attending the Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop, Juliann Wetz-Jones decided to try her hand at humor writing. The result: a piece in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Well THAT Was Funny.

“I learned so much in the workshops I attended, but never dreamed it would pay off so quickly! I was thrilled to share the story of my grandmother flirting with her grandson in “Lips All Sugary,” and my aunts and cousins are thrilled to have that story about her for posterity, says the Cincinnati writer.

Juliann often writes about greater Cincinnati in her travel blog, Browsing the Atlas. She has freelanced for dozens of regional and national publications, such as Highlights for Children, Child Magazine, Boys’ Life, Capper’s, Personal Journaling, Dog Fancy, Wee Parents, Daughters’ Newsletter, Hole, German Life and others. In addition, she wrote weekly columns, book reviews, restaurant reviews, feature articles and advertorials for the Cox News Group in Dayton from 2005-2008.
