Abe Yospe
Abe Yospe is an elementary school principal, father of three, husband of "one gorgeous wife" - and, undeniably, one of the funniest guys on Twitter, where nearly 35,000 fans follow his every hilarious move.
His writing and tweets have been featured in The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Reader'sDigest, Redbook, Huffington Post, Buzzfeed and The Salt Lake Tribune. His tweets also are featured in two books -The Big Book of Parenting Tweets and The Bigger Book of Parenting Tweets.
What inspires his entertaining quips? "My deranged and zany brain comes up with many of the silly ones. But of course, my own kids, the students at my school and married life are huge influences on the jokes I write. Also food. It seems like I write a lot of jokes about food, particularlycheese and donuts," says the former first grade teacher from Salt Lake City.
"I've always said that being a teacher is like being a comedian, only you can discipline your audience when they heckle you," he once told a reporter.
His most popular tweet? "Whenever I go to Subway, when they ask if I would like my sandwich toasted, I say yes & then I raise my cup of Coke & say, 'To my sandwich!'"
