'2023-2024 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools Rankings' includes 11 UD schools, programs

Eleven University of Dayton schools and programs are listed among the '2023-2024 U.S. News Best Graduate Schools Rankings.'

The 2023-2024 edition, released April 25, 2023, features the University's schools of education and health sciences and engineering; plus the part-time MBA, physicians assistant, physics and public affairs programs as well as the aerospace, biomedical, electrical, material and mechanical engineering programs.

Notably, the School of Engineering graduate program tied for 37th overall, No. 1 among Catholic colleges and universities, second among Ohio colleges and universities, and ahead of Ivy League schools Yale, Brown University and Dartmouth College. The part-time MBA program jumped 83 spots from last year.

Due to an unprecedented number of inquiries from schools during the initial embargo period and verification of publicly available data, the updated 2023-2024 Best Law Schools rankings will be released at a later date, according to U.S. News.

The rankings — a resource widely used by prospective students considering graduate school — are based on "two types of data: expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research and students," according to U.S. News.

Full information on the rankings is available on the U.S. News website.
