Maceo E. Cofield Minority Engineering Scholar Award!

Maceo Cofield, School of Engineering Major Gift and Recruitment Officer, will retire on June 30, 2016. Recently, at his retirement reception, Dean Eddy Rojas announced the Maceo E. Cofield Minority Engineering Scholar Award at UD. The award provides assistance to an incoming, full-time, diverse undergraduate student. This four-year, renewable award recognizes and honors Mace's many years of service to UD and his outstanding, caring assistance that he provided to the many students along the way.

It is also with great pleasure that we announce that he will return to UD on July 1, 2016, to work part-time with the School of Engineering Diversity in Engineering Center and the Minority Leaders Program!

Thank you, Mace, for your leadership and service to the University’s Catholic and Marianist mission and the School of Engineering.
