Bombeck Family Learning Center Enrolling for Preschool

The Bombeck Family Learning Center at the University of Dayton is projecting about 10 openings in their preschool program for the upcoming school year.

The Bombeck Center enrollment is open to all families in the greater Dayton community, although priority is given to families with an affiliation with the University. To enroll, fill out the wait list form and return it to the Bombeck Center or email cponder1@udayton.edu.

The preschool program is open to children ages 3-5. Preschool classrooms have a student-to-teacher ratio of 1:8, and during the academic year the classrooms function as a demonstration school for students in UD's early childhood education program as a field practicum site.

The school uses the ACCESS curriculum, which is rooted in play-based, age-appropriate, science-centered activities where children are embraced as capable thinkers who have important questions. The Bombeck Center was also recently awarded the 2022 Early Childhood Education Program of the Year for the Southwest Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children.

More information about the Bombeck Center can be found on their website.

Please note: At this time, there are no projected openings for infants and toddlers until next spring. However parents are encouraged to add their younger kids to the waiting list now, since application date is factored into the wait list order.
