University of Dayton School of Law among Best Schools for Legal Technology

The University of Dayton School of Law was ranked among the nation's top 30 law schools in the country when it comes to legal technology in the fall 2018 issue of the National Jurist. UDSL was ranked 16th in the country.

The School of Law recognized early on the importance of Legal Technology to law students, starting its Program In Law and Technology more than 25 years ago. The program was one of the first of its kind in the country.

That focus on legal technology has only increased in recent years with the creation of partnerships with Emerson and LexisNexis that allow students to get firsthand experience learning about the technologies that will shape the future of legal practice.

UDSL is also starting an online hybrid J.D. program in 2019. The program is only the fourth ABA-approved online hybrid J.D. degree program in the nation.

In addition, the School of Law will begin an online LL.M. program in January 2019. The program is designed primarily for international students who want to learn more about U.S. law and legal practice, and may be interested in taking a bar exam in the U.S.
