Merry Christmas from the UD Center for Catholic Education!

Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Stakeholders to the UD Center for Catholic Education!

In the midst of myriad preparations for Christmas and all of the celebrations of this beloved season, we sometimes look for peace that brings soulful joy.  The author of the Christmas prayer we have included in this message calls us to ask Jesus to “come to my fragile heart.  Let my heart be Your manger.”  We hope that your heart will be a resting place for Christ’s message.

Throughout the years of working with Catholic school colleagues, principals, teachers, students and their families, our mission continues to be steadfast.  We truly appreciate your support and prayers which propel our journey and give us spiritual energy to learn, lead, and serve.  Just as the manger offered shelter to the Holy Family, your support provides a framework for the steps on our path to teaching, developing, and providing services to Catholic schools and the communities they nourish.  Thank you for giving selflessly, for caring, and for believing that Christ’s message will bring mercy and justice for all.

In the New Year, please continue to pray for us as we pray for you!  We hear God’s call to us to be continually formed in our faith, to live an integrated life in family spirit for service, justice and peace, as we adapt and change in reading the signs of the times.

Merry Christmas and blessings in the New Year!
