Summer Research Fellows

The Dean’s Summer Fellowship program provides an opportunity for University of Dayton College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate students to conduct summer research in any academic discipline under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

Supported by gifts to the College Dean’s Fund for Excellence, the program provides students with high-impact experiential learning opportunities and an allowance for summer living expenses. This year, the program supported 65 students — an 18 percent increase from 2017.

Please watch this video to meet some of the 2018 Dean’s Summer Fellows and see examples of their faculty-mentored research projects.
