This year, the University of Dayton College of Arts and Sciences welcomes more than 1,025 first-year students, representing nearly half of the University’s more than 2,200 new students from 39 states and 18 countries.

To help prepare them for a successful undergraduate journey, College department and program award winners from the Class of 2018 offer advice for incoming first-year students in this short video.

The College has 18 academic departments and 10 interdisciplinary programs that support 60 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate programs.

The University will welcome the incoming class at convocation Aug. 21 in the RecPlex. Classes begin Aug. 22.
