College of Arts and Sciences

We are organized into eighteen departments and ten interdisciplinary program areas. We also sponsor the Fitz Center for Leadership in Community, the Hanley Sustainability Institute, the Human Rights Center, the Institute for Pastoral Initiatives and the Center for Tissue Regeneration and Engineering at Dayton (TREND). Our faculty members support undergraduate degree programs across a range of disciplines representing the humanities, the sciences, the social sciences, and the performing and visual arts. We offer programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Science, the Bachelor of Fine Arts, the Bachelor of Music, and the Bachelor of General Studies, which is a non-traditional degree program.
