Amanda Vande Griend
Amanda Vande Griend is a graduate student at the University of Dayton, pursuing a Masters of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a minor in Chemistry from Oregon State University, and Masters of Science in Foods and Nutrition, Community Nutrition from the University of Georgia. Through her graduate studies, Amanda gained experience in nutrition education curriculum development and a deep appreciation for the necessity of community nutrition programs and services at the federal, state, and local levels in improving food security, health outcomes, and nutrition-related quality of life across diverse populations.
