University of Dayton and Miami Valley Hospital Healthcare Symposium

As partner with CBD Advisors for the past seven years, Vicki helps healthcare and corporate clients achieve their goals by developing and executing growth strategies; and successfully navigating issues, policy and politics.
Early in her career, Vicki worked for Procter and Gamble, Domino’s Pizza respectively. For 24 years, she served as the vice president for strategic partnerships and business development for Dayton Children’s Hospital. There, she established the hospital’s foundation; developed the nationally recognized public affairs, advocacy, marketing and physician referral programs.
In service to her community, Vicki served for eight years on the Beavercreek City Council including as vice Mayor and Mayor, and was at the time the only female mayor of a top 25 Ohio city.
Vicki is active with the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton, Pink Ribbon Girls, the Ohio Children’s Hospitals Association and Vote for Ohio’s Kids. A two-time University of Dayton graduate, she has taught Health Policy in the school of Public Administration; served on the University’s Board of Trustees and is now a Trustee Emeritus. Vicki also earned fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in healthcare administration. In 2021, Vicki was honored to receive the Dayton Children’s Elsie T. Mead Lifetime Achievement award, the hospital’s highest honor given to a current or former employee who has made an outstanding contribution to the hospital and the community. Among the other awards she has received are the Greeneview High School Alumni Hall of Fame; Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women; University of Dayton’s Distinguished Alumni Award; the Dayton YWCA as a Woman of Influence; Woman of the Year for the Southwest Ohio Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Communicator of the Year from the Public Relations Society of America, Dayton Chapter.
