Matthew Bauer
Matthew D. Bauer, DO (He/Him/His) serves as the Southwest Ohio Medical Director for Equitas Health. He graduated from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, OH before going on to complete his Infectious Diseases Fellowship at The Ohio State University. Dr. Bauer is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He has focused his career on treating infectious diseases with a special focus on HIV, PrEP, and Hepatitis C care. In his current role, he oversees the clinical staff at the healthcare centers and sits on various committees aimed at achieving quality, affirming care for all patients.
