2022 Bombeck Workshop Faculty Susan Pohlman

Susan Pohlman has written two travel memoirs: Halfway to Each Other: How a Year in Italy Brought Our Family Home and A Time To Seek: Meaning, Purpose, and Spirituality at Midlife.

She’s the founder and director of The Phoenix Writers Network, as well as a freelance writer, editor, writing coach and workshop facilitator.

Her essays have been published in a variety of online and print magazines and journals, including The Washington Times, Family Digest, The Family, Raising Arizona Kids, Guideposts magazine, Homelife magazine, Arizona Parenting, The Review Review, Tiferet Journal and Goodhousekeeping.com.

Susan has served as Writer-in-Residence for the Arizona State Library and has taught creative writing at Arizona State University Emeritus College.
