Event Locations

All ArtsLIVE programs are presented on the campus of the University of Dayton.

THE UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON is located two miles from downtown Dayton, and easily accessible from area suburbs as well as regional cities: I-75 and State Rte 35 exits are nearby. Most campus buildings do not have street addresses, but our RecPlex is adjacent to parking Lot C (recommended for most ArtsLIVE events): 2 Evanston Ave, Dayton, Ohio, 45409

Sears Recital Hall is a 183-seat facility located on the first floor of the Jesse Philips Humanities Center. Closest parking is in Lot C; stop at the parking booth for a permit. Open event parking available after 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, after 4:30 p.m., Friday, and all day on the weekend.

PARKING is always free, but if you arrive prior to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, please stop at the parking booth to request a permit. Lot C is recommended for most ArtsLIVE events, and can be accessed via Evanston Avenue off Irving Avenue (north edge of Oakwood). Parking advice and permits are always available (weekdays through 7:30 p.m.) at the visitor center on University Circle.
