Green Revolving Fund
The Green Revolving Fund allows all community members to research and propose sustainability projects that will promote environmental stewardship and save the university real money, using an open application process that anybody can use. From the fund's charter:
Our Mission
The mission of the University of Dayton’s Green Revolving Fund (UDGRF) is to encourage and promote sustainability and renewable energy efforts with environmentally sound technologies and initiatives. The UDGRF will engage the whole campus community by investing in financially sound sustainable projects that supports the campus as a whole.
Our Investment
The university has joined more than 50 other institutions in the Billion Dollar Green Challenge, which encourages non-profit institutions to invest a combined total of one billion dollars in green revolving funds.
