Sustainable living on campus
We are driven by an active group of students, faculty and staff on campus. Listed below are some of the ways to get involved on campus.

Sustainability Club is a service and social action club with an emphasis on food, water, and waste on campus, and in the Dayton community. We educate ourselves and others about important environmental and sustainability issues as well as develop a collective language and vision among the students. Learn more

The National Biological Honors Society provides awareness of the biological sciences and service to the chapter, university, community and national organization. It promotes research and strengthens relationships between students and faculty. Learn more

This initiative of the School of Engineering seeks to provide experiential learning through service-learning internships, student organization activities, collaborative research and hands-on classroom projects that support the development of appropriate technologies for the developing world, locally and globally. Habitat for Humanity works in conjunction with the Dayton chapter on housing projects around the greater Dayton area. Learn more

The Marianist Environmental Education Center (MEEC) is an educational ministry located at the Mount St. John Nature Preserve. Learn more

The New Abolitionist Movement (NAM) is dedicated to the elimination of human trafficking, the modern day permutation of slavery.

This club educates UD students about different outdoor activities, promotes a love of the outdoors and the environment, offers a relaxed and memorable experience and hopes to inspire a passion for an outdoor lifestyle and land stewardship. Learn more
