Partnership with Gender Tech Initiative Uganda

Through a partnership between the Human Rights Center and the Gender Tech Initiative - Uganda students will have the opportunity to learn from GTI-U’s team of feminists, journalists, educators, and human rights defenders working to end online censorship and mitigate threats to digital attacks. 

Gender Tech Initiative-Uganda GTI-U is an organization, founded in 2017. They aim to empower women, young girls, activists, feminists, and human rights defenders with skills to thwart online censorship, offer digital safety training and awareness to mitigate threats to digital attacks, and protect them from online harassment. GTI-U has worked with journalists, university and secondary students, primary pupils, and female CSO heads among others.
