Human Rights Day Vigil

Dignity and Justice for Immigrants

Migrant Vigil

On the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we gathered together in the spirit of hope and solidarity for a candlelight vigil to call for dignity and justice for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Program included peaceful prayer, song, reflection and testimony of those affected by this critical human rights issue of our era. The 2019 Vigil was co-sponsored by Campus Ministry.

Our Message

Peace and solidarity served as a reminder that human rights crises from the US-Mexico border to our own communities demand our attention.
