Isabel Zavala

Isabel is a junior Human Rights Studies & Spanish major with minors in international business and Latinx studies from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. As the Linda C. Majka Fellow, her work focuses on helping immigrants and refugees overcome obstacles to succeed by collaborating with community organizations and the Law School. She provides immigrants and refugees information to further advance their knowledge and provide resources for that success. Isabel has a passion for working with children and migrants. She hopes to pursue a career as a human rights lawyer with a focus on children and indigenous rights.
