We work in partnership with concerned community members and partner organizations in the Miami Valley and across the state and the country to prevent human trafficking, protect victims and survivors, and help prosecute the criminals responsible through awareness-raising, advocacy, education, and research.

Since 2011, a committed group of stakeholders has been meeting to respond to human trafficking in the Miami Valley. Social service agencies, law enforcement, advocates, civic organizations, and concerned community members come together to share information, develop resources, and take action. Daybreak

Daybreak changes lives and creates new futures for homeless, at-risk and troubled youth (10-24) in the Dayton region through emergency shelter, transitional housing, street outreach, and employment services. Daybreak is the region’s only housing program designed to move youth (18-24) out of crisis and into housing, financial independence, educational achievement and self-sufficiency.
