2023 Pre-Law Day and the University of Dayton Law Fair

This event offers students interested in attending law school an opportunity to get in-depth information directly from law school representatives from across the Midwest and around the country while making a personal connection that may pay off at application time. Representatives from 45-50 law schools will be participating.

Anyone interested in possibly attending law school in the future, whether you are a first-year student, a senior, or a member of the community, is encouraged to attend. Sessions are free and open to the public. The dress is casual.  There is no charge for students or members of the community to attend any of our Pre-Law Day events.

About the University of dayton LAW FAIR

The law fair offers students interested in attending law school an opportunity to discuss their future with law school representatives from around the country. Representatives from more than 50 law schools will be participating. Come and talk to live law school representatives. Anyone interested in possibly attending law school in the future, whether a first year student, a senior or in between, is encouraged to attend.

Find your right "fit" (2:30 p.m., KU 222): Pre-Law Program Director Dr. Laura Hume will present a session on finding a law school that "fits" you and what impact "fit" can have on your financial future.

Mock admission session (3:45 p.m., KU 222): Law school admissions officers from regional schools will use (old, redacted) authentic applications to demonstrate the review process, spelling out "dos" and "don'ts" for your application.

Dayton Law Fair (5-6:30 p.m., KU Ballroom): Instead of relying on websites, come talk to over 50 law school representatives eager to answer questions about their schools.
