Music Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Dayton recognizes the talent of students who contribute to our music community with Music Talent Scholarships. Incoming first year, full-time students who complete an audition by mid February are eligible for the awards.
Students accepted as majors into the department of Music can receive a $10,000 scholarship ($2,500 per year for four years). This award is renewable each year by remaining enrolled in a music program and participating in ensembles as assigned by the department of music.
Students enrolled in majors outside the department of music can receive a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 per year for four years). This award is renewable each year by participating in an ensemble assigned by the Department of Music.
How to apply for a music scholarship:
As a Catholic, Marianist university, we’re committed to making a UD education affordable and accessible to all students. In addition to music scholarships, all accepted students are considered for up to $124,000 in merit scholarships, and 97% of students receive financial aid assistance. Students should file the FAFSA to be considered for all financial aid options.
