Auditions

In addition to applying for admission to the University of Dayton, students applying for our Bachelor of Music degrees must audition for admission into the degree program.

All students, regardless of major, may audition to receive a music scholarship. A single audition can be used for music scholarship eligibility and admission to a Bachelor of Music degree.

Auditions for Fall 2024 will take place on the University of Dayton campus on Jan. 27, 2024 and Feb. 10, 2024. A virtual audition will be held on Jan. 20, 2024, for students who are unable to travel to Dayton for one of the other audition days.

To register for an audition:

• Complete the application for admission to the University
• Register for one of our Audition Days at the Department of Music Admissions Portal
