The University of Dayton is a fully accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music. The music therapy degree is also approved by the American Music Therapy Association. Our music education degree is licensed by the State of Ohio.

Join the warm and inclusive community that shares your passion for music.
Our department offers programs including a Bachelor of Music in music composition, music education, music performance and music therapy. We offer a Bachelor of Arts in Music with concentrations in jazz studies and music studies. Minors are offered in music and music technology. Auditions are required for admission to our B.M. programs.

Auditions and Admissions
Students who wish to be admitted into a Bachelor of Music degree program at the University of Dayton, and students interested in receiving a music scholarship (regardless of major) must complete an audition.
