Why Army ROTC?

Army ROTC is for students who want more than a typical college experience. The Army offers careers in numerous fields from Aviation to Finance and Military Intelligence. Advanced degrees in medicine, dentistry, veterinary services, law and the chaplaincy are also available. World-class leadership and management training that can be completed in conjunction with any chosen academic major.

The University of Dayton's ROTC program was founded in 1917, making it one of the oldest and longest running programs in the country and has since commissioned countless Officers into the U.S. Army. We believe that officers in the Army possess the skills necessary to lead others through the most challenging of circumstances.
