Science Writer
Lori Balster had the pleasure of graduating from UD twice: once in 1994 with undergraduate degrees in chemistry and English, and then again in 2010 with an MA degree in English. Presently, she works as a science writer working for Fondriest Environmental in Fairborn, OH.
Email Marketing Content Coordinator
Graduating with the class of 2013, Kristina DeMichele received BA degrees in English and Spanish at the University of Dayton. Deciding to further her education, she went on to receive an MA in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College, graduating in 2015. She is an Email Marketing Content Coordinator at America's Test Kitchen, living in Boston, Massachusetts.
Editor of Technical Communication
Sam Dragga graduated from UD in 1972 with a B.A. in English, a first-generation college student. He immediately started work as the corporate newsletter editor for Elder-Beerman Stores. Now, Sam is a professor of technical communication at Texas Tech University and the editor-in-chief of Technical Communication.
High School English Teacher
Erin Ketch graduated in 2005 with a BA in English and a BS in Adolescent to Young Adult Education, furthering her education later with a master's degree in Educational Leadership. Currently working as a 9th, 10th, and 11th English teacher at Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton.
Professional Writer
Margo Orlando Littell graduated with the class of 1999, receiving a BA with double majors in English and Psychology. Now Living in Maplewood, New Jersey—a little town just outside of NYC—she is a writer. Each Vagabond by Name, her first novel, was published in June 2016.
English Professor in China
Aaron Rotsinger graduated with an MA in English with the Class of 2005. Currently, he is the Year 2 Manager in the Language Centre at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University and lives in Suzhou, China.
Professional Singer and Music Professor
Andrea Chenoweth Wells graduated with a BA in English and Communication Management in the class of 2000. She is currently pursuing her DMA in Voice at the Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. She lives in Huber Heights, OH as a professional singer and music professor.
