Sydney Program

Communication: Internship, Crisis Communication and Leadership

May 17 - June 28, 2018
  • CMM 498: Communication Internship (3 sem. hrs.)
  • CMM 469: Crisis Communication (3 sem. hrs.)
  • CMM 499: International Leadership (3 sem. hrs.)

Students must enroll in all nine semester hours.

Program Overview:

This program will be a six-week comprehensive learning, interning and living experience in Sydney, Australia, one of the world's most cosmopolitan and global cities. The program is designed to provide students with both a study abroad and an internship experience in a single program. 

Students are required to take all three courses (9 semester hours) in the program in order to participate. Career and industry relevant courses will be combined with a 20 hour per week internship for a culturally embedded learning experience. In addition to coursework and internship, there will be select excursions and guest speakers, as well as the opportunity to participate in multiple other activities with students from other programs through our site provider.
