Remote Work Continues for UD Faculty and Staff

FRIDAY May 1, 2020

Gov. DeWine extends Stay Healthy and Safe at Home Order through May 29; remote work continues for UD faculty, staff

Late yesterday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine extended Ohio's Stay Healthy and Safe at Home Order through May 29.  The University continues to require employees to work from home whenever possible and when feasible with business operations.

Employees may only come to campus for essential business purposes or operations that cannot be effectively or productively performed remotely, as determined by their supervisor.  To come to campus, an employee must have supervisor approval; be free of COVID-19 symptoms; wear a face covering when near others; maintain social distancing of at least six feet; and wash hands frequently.

Employees are responsible for providing face coverings;  here is information from CDC on how to make, wear and care for face coverings.  All employees are encouraged to abide by public health officials' recommendations for reducing the spread of COVID-19.

Information taken from the University of Dayton Campus News Digest e-newsletter (requires UD Novell login).
